The ambush
It was 8:56 pm when i got down on Kandivali station. I started walking fast as I wanted to reach gym as fast as possible. My gym closes at 10pm and I couldn't afford to waste time. I hate when I miss gym. I rushed home, threw my bag, changed my clothes, drank some water and left on my Activa to gym. (Listening to my mom yelling behind that I ought to take some rest and eat something.) I wore my helmet and rode off. I checked my watch it was already 9:15pm (45 mins to go ... I could still do legs ). I was just near my gym when it happened. A scooter came from opposite direction with no light, from wrong way and swished past me. It didn't touch luckily. I automatically braked and looked behind. There he was, a plump guy with big spectacles and no helmet on his head, the guy had the audacity to stare and give me a seething look when he was the one travelling in wrong direction.
