"Mom ... he is having convulsions. Look at his eyes. They are wide open!! " Dad quickly comes in the living room near his couch and we both help him lie down. It usually takes few minutes for him to get normal. But this time, his eyes weren't growing back to his normal size. Dad asks mom to check his blood pressure. Mom quickly takes out her stethoscope and sphygmomanometer and checks his blood pressure. "It's just 40", she whispers to dad and fai (dad's sister). Okay this looks bad. It has never been this low. He was admitted to hospital a month ago due to low haemoglobin. I quickly run to kitchen and make some ORS. By the time I  come back his eyes are back to normal. Sigh. He must be fine now. I pour a spoonful of ORS in his mouth but he doesn't respond. I know his responses have slowed down since last 15 days. His cancer is spreading and he hasn't been able to speak much but no response is really bad. Mom again checks his blood press...

I helped my grandpa get ready and removed his chappals. He was very excited. It had been months since he went out to his favorite garden for a walk. Dad said we will take car because we weren't sure he would be able to walk so much after such a long time. It is difficult at the age of 85. On top of that he is visually challenged. As they passed by my dad gave a wry smile to his father. I asked ,"Do you know them? Is ther...

I woke up at 5:30 a.m. and quickly brushed and had a bath. It was a big day today. My software for Airoli Check Naka toll booth was going to be inaugurated by few M.P.s and M.L.A.s (Wont name the ministers or the party). The car which was supposed to pick me up was right on time. We all were asked to be present near the toll booth by 7. I didn't care much about the ministers or the press just didn't want to miss the opening of one of my big projects. I arrived just before 7 and heaved a sigh. Soon enough the police and security personnel came for protection of all the politicians. Well minutes turned into hours and it was 2 in the afternoon and nobody had arrived yet. It was quite frustrating and it was a hot day. Everyone was perspiring a lot. I was so hungry that I didn't bother if I would actually miss out on the whole inauguration ceremony. I went to the nearby hawker. I bought a cup of tea and missal and a vada pav. Okay ...no surprises I went for a repeat order,...
