The one-sided Lover


What is the definition of love , well the perception changes with each generation and the people who live in it .But why do we always talk about the romeo-Juliet , the lailas-majnus , true enough their love was unmatchable but still it was a thread that was held on by both the sides . Romeo did have that exclusive chance of holding Juliet's hands and looking into her eyes and the feelings were mutual . 

How about we talk about the love that never climbed up the relationship ladder and languished at the bottom . Does that mean that love wasn't worth it ? Did it fall short in its magnitude ? Yeah it did fall short but only in its commencement ,But it was as cute and deep as any . One sided love as it has been generally referred to as is actually the definition of love . 


Looking at her from a long distance , trying to catch a glimpse of her while she walks past you taking care she doesn't see you watching . Secretly taking care of her and making sure she never misses out on anything important for her submissions . Sending her some stupid forward message and making it look like you sent it to all your friends . Trying stupid stuff on internet like love calculator even while knowing its childish thing . Blushing every time someone mentions her name . Looking at her picture on a bad day and smiling . Trying to follow her activities through social networking sites and keeping tabs on her friends , making sure she is okay . Deliberately taking a longer route to your house just because her house is on the way . Not noticing a girl hitting on you because you are too busy dwelling on her thoughts . Getting excited every time she replies your messages . Just one wave from her hand does the trick .


All this just because you think she too good and the thought of being rejected scares you. Practising in the mirror every night about how to talk to her next day and jumping when you finally nail it , little do you realise it was just the mirror . She gives u sleepless nights , she gives you those unacceptable lowering of the self worth and still you love her ! For her you’re just a nobody , probably just someone she knows , and still you made her your everything, ‘Your Precious ‘.

So here’s to every guy who never gained the courage to say it because you thought she is that BEAUTIFUL ANGEL, remember it is you who gave her that honour and she deserves to be treated in the same way . So step out tighten that self confidence belt , straighten that courage cap , and widen that Love smile .
