Money can also be offensive !

Money is just a symbol of exchange. We use money to buy labor, buy some stuffs. Money buys lot of stuff but not all. Confused? No I am not talking about love ..buaah .. That's a boring topic..

Well I will explain you with an example, I am sure my teachers are reading and hope to impress a few :P Some 10 years ago me and my family were travelling to some place in car ( I don't remember much details of our tour ). I just remember my Nana (maternal Grandfather) and my dad travelling along. There was a small girl near some toll booth giving free polio drops to children below 5. She was helping some NGO organization. She seemed 7-8 years old and looked a bit poor. Still she was doing this for fun, for helping people with a big smile on her face. My Nana and dad both were very happy seeing this. Nana suddenly gave her a 50Rs. note. She took it but dad says she looked offended at that.
Dad said, "She was very happy doing this task. Your Nana compared her task, her work with money. Its not his fault. Most people do that. They think people will be happy that way, not understanding the real pleasure of work ".
I countered "But dad isn't money good?"
Dad smiled and said, "Money is good at certain level but .. Okay let’s say your friend asks you to join him to some function he is too bored to attend. You accompany him and enjoy with him. At the end of the party he gives you money. How would you feel? Offended? Wont you? "
I replied, "Umm .. If you say so dad :P personally I wouldn't mind some money :P "
He just gave a big smile and shakes his head [He doesn't get it .. I have no pocket money :( ].

PS: Sometimes a smile, a word of appreciation, a pat can do lot more than money . Money cannot buy hard-work , just labor , and few stuffs :P ( Still I love money , no offence dad . )

Dedicated to,
Dad,
Some people who I hope will understand my dads point as I did (still I choose money :P I guess I have never worked that hard enough to realize what he means ),
Thank you for reading,
From,
Hetansh Shah a.k.a Hetu :]
